Charlotte Jones has dedicated the past nine years to her love of dance. Her journey began at Christopher Whitehead Language College and continued at Heart of Worcestershire College, where she trained extensively in ballet and contemporary styles including Contact, Release, Graham, and Cunningham, alongside jazz, modern, and tap.

While classically trained, Charlotte’s true passion lies in street dance, with expertise in Popping, Locking, Breaking, and Hip Hop. She has showcased her versatility and talent at a range of local events and venues such as The Hive, Dines Green Community Centre, Sixways Stadium, Joel Corry events, and KGV.

Alongside performing, Charlotte is deeply passionate about teaching and empowering young dancers in her community. Since joining Øddstepperz at its launch in 2019, she has played a vital role in the company’s growth, helping to inspire the next generation of dancers while contributing to its ongoing success.

Daryl Curtis, better known as The Jestar, has been deeply immersed in the world of dance since 2008. His journey began at Slough Young People’s Centre (SYPC) while studying Art and Design at college, where he regularly showcased his talent at local events and attended dance classes at the youth centre.

Driven to refine his skills, Daryl went on to earn a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Dance from Creative Academy, training in a range of styles including ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and contemporary techniques such as Cunningham, Graham, and Release. This classical and contemporary foundation beautifully complemented his funk styles, helping to shape his distinctive, dynamic approach to movement.

Eager to broaden his knowledge, Daryl trained at the renowned Urban Dance Camp in Lörrach, Germany, learning from world-class choreographers and freestylers such as Marty Kudelka, Lando Wilkins, Mr. Wiggles, and Salah. His professional credits include work with PepsiCo, JD Sports, and a standout solo performance at Glastonbury 2022.

Now based in Worcester, Daryl teaches regular classes and leads his own brand, OddStepperz, dedicated to inspiring the next generation of dancers to embrace individuality and authentic street styles. His performance highlights include appearances at Breakin’ Convention and securing a Top 8 spot at Juste Debout UK 2014 in the popping category.

Beyond performance and teaching, Daryl is an experienced event organiser, having founded TasteLikeHipHop, a successful community-focused hip-hop event launched in Slough in 2012 — a testament to his commitment to both the art form and the culture that surrounds it.

Skye Jones has been part of our dance family for four years and is one of our dedicated teaching assistants. She plays an active role in supporting many of our classes and regularly volunteers at our holiday camps, helping to nurture and inspire younger dancers.

As a valued member of our elite team, Skye has competed in numerous competitions across the Midlands. Among her achievements, she secured 1st place at Audacity 2024 Winter Edition and 2nd place at BDO 2025 with our Elite Teens group.

Skye is currently studying Performing Arts at Worcester College and plans to continue her journey in dance at university, with the goal of building a fulfilling career in the performing arts industry.

Thom has been dancing for five years and is an important part of the Oddstepperz team. Alongside assisting in classes, he also helps behind the scenes with admin and event support for our showcases and holiday clubs.

A committed member of our Elite Teens group, Thom has helped secure multiple trophies at competitions across the Midlands. His individual achievements include 1st place in Solo Intermediate at both the Audacity Winter Edition and Audacity Championships 2024, as well as 3rd place in Solo at BDO 2025.

With a passion for acting, singing, and dancing, Thom is set to continue his performing arts journey into higher education, with ambitions of building a future in the creative industries.

Larik is widely recognised as an inspiring individual and an exceptional dance instructor, known for his passion and dedication to the art of Breaking. With over eight years of teaching experience, Larik’s dance journey began at the age of nine in Kyiv, Ukraine. From the very start, breakdance became more than just a hobby — it was his culture, his sport, and his creative outlet, and it remains so to this day.

For Larik, Breaking is a unique blend of athleticism, artistry, and freedom of expression. He approaches the dance with a thoughtful, analytical mindset, combining the physical and creative aspects in a way that challenges both the body and the mind. As an active competitor within the breaking community, he brings first-hand experience and insight to his students.

With a dry sense of humour and a touch of irony, Larik encourages his students to think independently, nurturing their creativity and helping them move beyond the limits of pre-set moves and patterns. His background in photography and philosophy influences his distinctive teaching style, inspiring dancers to approach movement as a form of storytelling and self-expression that extends far beyond the dance floor.

Tabitha has been a valued member of the Oddstepperz family since 2020, bringing with her a lifelong passion for dance. Starting at just two years old, her early training included ballet, bellydance, and flamenco. After moving to the UK, she joined Step by Step, where she expanded her skills to include tap, modern, acro, lyrical, and pointe, participating in exams, shows, and competitions along the way.

As she entered high school, Irish dance became a significant part of her dance story, building her endurance and technique through both choreography and competitions. In college, Tabitha discovered a new interest in pole dance, which further developed her strength and body control.

From 2013, she danced with Dancefest, where she deepened her understanding of contemporary dance and storytelling. Dancefest provided her with a range of performing opportunities across Worcester and Tenbury Wells, and it was through this connection that Tabitha first discovered Oddstepperz in 2020.

Having always been drawn to bellydance and body isolations, she quickly developed a fascination with popping. After meeting The Jester, her love for hip hop, popping, and locking took root, and she’s since become a dedicated dancer and an integral part of our team. Tabitha regularly takes part in performances, community events, and serves as a lead member of our summer camps.

As of 2025, Tabitha has achieved her Level 1 Gymnastics Coaching Qualification and Safeguarding Certification with Momentum Gymnastics. She continues to grow her skills through a variety of workshops — from hip hop and heels to bellydance — and is committed to exploring new styles and opportunities to further her journey within the world of dance.

Ellis Moorse has been dancing with us for six years and proudly serves as one of our ambassadors, representing our company to the highest standard. Alongside his ambassador role, Ellis is an important part of our teaching team, delivering classes to students during our weekend sessions and workshops.

A versatile dancer with a passion for many styles, Ellis specialises in Popping. His skills have seen him compete in battles and competitions across the Midlands, achieving 1st place solo titles at several events. He’s also played a key role in group performances, earning 1st place with both ‘Elite Teens’ and ‘Oddity’ at Audacity 2024 Winter Edition, as well as at the Audacity Championships.

Ellis has built an impressive performance portfolio, taking the stage at events such as Fearlessly Odd Festival, NEC Birmingham Superweekender 2024, Move It 2025 on the main stage, and many others with both our company and his college.

He is now preparing to take the next step in his journey, furthering his education at university with the goal of pursuing a professional career in performing arts.

Guilherme Santos has been part of our dance family for six years, taking on the roles of ambassador, teacher, and valued member of our holiday camp team. Known in the dance world as Bboy Santos, Guilherme is a versatile dancer with skills in multiple styles, though his true passion and specialty lie in Breaking.

He’s a vital part of our elite competition team, proudly representing us across the Midlands. Most recently, Guilherme helped lead the team to victory, securing 1st place and Champion of Champions at Audacity 2024 Winter Edition.

Beyond teaching and competing, Guilherme is an accomplished performer. His credits include appearances at The Super Weekender at Birmingham NEC, Fearlessly Odd Festival, Move It 2025 on the main stage, and our annual showcase.

Currently studying Performing Arts at Kidderminster College, Guilherme is working towards furthering his education at university, with dreams of turning his passion for dance into a lifelong career.
